The сentral motives of the novel are the revival of indigenous traditions, identity, national self-determination, the relationship of man and nature. The archetypal functions of Home are singled out. An analysis of the main hero’s return to his roots is made.en_US

Центральным мотивом произведения становится возрождение традиций коренных американцев, их самобытности, национальное самоопределение, взаимоотношение чело-века и природы. Выделяются архетипические функции дома, проводится анализ процесса возвращения сломленного героя домой, к своим корням.en_US
