| dc.description | Garanovich T. Structural and Semantic Peculiarities of the Belarusian Tautological Construction N ёсць N and its Correspondences in the English Language. The article dwells on structural and semantic features of the Belarusian and English tautological constructions N ёсць N and N is N. It has been determined that they can be used as syntactic idioms with a generalized modus meaning fixed to the models according to which they are constructed, and have 10 semantic variants common to both the languages. Two meanings in Belarusian and three meanings in English have been singled out, in which N ёсць N and N is N are used as non-idiomatic elliptical constructions. | en_US |
