| dc.description | Astapkina E. S. Aspects of the Study оf Regular Semantic Derivation. The article deals with the phenomenon of semantic derivation by presenting the approaches of linguists to the definition of semantic derivation, describing the nature of the relationship between the individual meanings of words, disclosing the concept of regular polysemy, as well as the algorithm for determining the regularity of a particular semantic change. Metaphor and metonymy are considered as the basic mechanisms of semantic derivation; attention is also paid to the cognitive foundations of regular polysemy. | dc.description.abstract | В статье рассматривается феномен семантической деривации: приводятся подходы лингвистов к определению семантической деривации, описывается характер связи между отдельными значениями слова, раскрывается понятие регулярной многозначности, а также алгоритм определения регулярности определенного семантического переноса. Метафора и метонимия рассматриваются как основные механизмы семантической деривации; внимание также уделено когнитивным основаниям регулярной многозначности.
