| Abstract: | В статье рассматриваются способы и пути пополнения словарного состава французского языка в социокультурном аспекте. Массовое появление феминитивов, обусловленное в первую очередь запросами современного французского общества, уравновешивается спецификой их кодификации. Изначально квалифицируемые как аномалии, феминитивы закрепляются в качестве нормативных единиц при условии их соответствия существующим словообразовательным моделям и общепринятым фонетическим нормам. | Description: | Romankevich M. From Anomaly to Norm: Feminitives in Modern French Language. The article examines the process of replenishing the vocabulary of the French language in the socio-cultural aspect. Massive appearance of feminitives, due to the demands of modern French society, is balanced by the specifics of their codification. Initially qualified as anomalies, feminitives are fixed as a normative unit if they are euphonious and familiar, and if they correspond to existing word-formation models. Key words: feminitive; norm; grammar rule; feminine form; anomaly. |
